Policies, Terms, Conditions

We currently accept personal checks, postal money orders or bank wire transfers. All items are antiques or antiquities and are, therefore, not new, and, as such, are all sold in “as is“ condition. We pay for all shipping within the continental United States. We ship worldwide. Buyers outside the continental United States will pay actual shipping and insurance costs. The buyer within the continental United States pays for insurance, so please make contact with us to obtained the cost, if you wish insurance. As stated in the Shipping/Handling section, our responsibility ends when we ship the item to you. Any breakage or loss, if there is no insurance is your responsibility; therefore, obtaining insurance is highly recommended–also, be sure to save all packing material until after you inspect an item as the insurance companies will want to inspect it. For the sake of safety to the art, all pieces of art (Rockwells, Wahols, Durers, Icarts...) will be sent without glass--the frames and matting will be shipped, but no glass, as glass breakage might damage the artwork.

All offered items are open to reasonable offer which will be seriously considered.

Please rely yourself on the photographs provided, always view the photographs carefully, and read any notes passed on. We do not send items out "On Approval" and as such all sales are final sales. For all items, antique, antiquities, art, etc.--date of production is usually unknown so category listing choice is only suggestive as actual year of production is unknown. We use our best knowledge and more than 40 years of experience to describe the items to the best of our abilities. Of course, if you wish, all items may be personally inspected. To do so, an appointment would be needed, as all items are stored in bank vaults and they could be seen at the banks. So, please call first to make arrangements.

Again, for items without insurance being purchased, we are not responsible for damage or lost items once parcels leave our possession at the post office or shipping point. We will offer shipping confirmations to help with insurance coverage if item is damaged or lost during transit; we will assist in filing a claim if insurance is purchased, you will be responsible for filing this on your end, again your purchase acknowledges that you agree with the above terms.

Michigan bidders please add 6% tax to balance payment as per state law.
